A healthy balanced school lunchbox should contain water and a variety of everyday foods from the core food groups for recess and lunch, including:


  • Grain foods to GO

  • Protein-rich foods to GROW

  • Vegetables to GLOW

  • Fruit for FIBRE


Many schools have Crunch n Sip time for students to ‘refuel’ on vegetables, salad and fruit and ‘rehydrate’ with water.


Some schools have a nut-free policy. Please check with your child's school or teacher to find out if nuts or other foods are banned.
